MR. WILLIAM McKINLEY “KENT” HILL
“Kent” entered his sleep on May 17,2008 at Nash General Hospital, Rocky Mount, N.C. born February 15, 1955, to Mrs. Essie Lee Harrison Hill and the late Mr. William C. Hill. His grandmother, Mrs. Corine Harrison and sister, Mrs. Gail Hill Daniels preceded him in death.

He fulfilled his service to the local community at Barcalounger, Roses Department store, and Edgerton’s Grocery Store in the Little Easonburg neighborhood, before taking ill.

He faithfully discharged his Christian duty at the Mount Olive Missionary Baptist church, in the Senior Choir, Sunday School and Bible Study, while demonstrating the Spiritual Truth, “Greater Love Hath No Man!”

He has charged many to carry on his legacy of service and love one for another, among them are; his devoted and loving wife, of 30 years, Mrs. Carolyn Davis Hill of the home. His faithful and committed son, Mr. William Kenyatta Hill (wife) Mrs. Tamika Braswell Hill and their daughter, little Miss Madison Lynne Hill of Rocky Mount. His only brother, Mr. Gilbert Hill (Wanda), and one surviving sister, Ms. Sharon Avent, his grandfather Mr. Norman Harrison, one uncle, four aunts, all of Rocky Mount, N.C. and one uncle from Florida.

Eulogistic service will be held Thursday, May 22, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church on Cokey Road, where Rev. George E. Battle, Sr. is the Pastor. Interment at Gardens of Gethsemane, Hwy. 64E Bus. in Rocky Mount.

Visitation will be held at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church Wednesday, May 21, 2008 from 6-8 p.m. where Rev. Milton V. Batts is Pastor.
