Geraldine Thorne Boykin, 78, of Bailey passed away Thursday, May 24, 2018. Her funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 26, at Stony Hill Free Will Baptist Church, Middlesex. Interment will follow in Bailey Town Cemetery, Bailey. The Rev. Buddy Wagnon will officiate.

The family will receive friends Saturday morning from 10 - 10:45 a.m. at Stony Hill FWB Church, Middlesex, and other times at the home of Geraldine.

Geraldine is survived by her daughters, Sylvia Temple and husband, Danny, and Sharon Greer and husband, Jonathan both of Bailey; her sons, Wayne Boykin, and Ray Boykin and wife, Lori both of Bailey; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Judy Lewis and husband, Spencer of Bailey: brother, Daylon Thorne and wife, Hilda of Middlesex.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Boykin; her parents, Rossie and Lillie Mae Thorne, sister, Lorna Boykin, and her brothers, Brooks Thorne, and Bennie Thorne.
