Robert Gerald Wood, 62, passed away Monday, May 7, 2018. He was born in Nash County June 11, 1955 to the late Robert and Phyllis Womble Wood.

He is survived by his nephew, Doug Rich (Nickie) and children, and nephew, Ben Lancaster (Amy) and children; sisters, Linda Rich (Dwight), and Susan Lancaster (Fiance Allen Wooten).

The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 p.m. Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Ben Lancaster officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
