Texie Skinner Glover, 82, of Bailey passed away Friday, March 9, 2018. Her funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 13 at at Joyner's Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. The Rev. Hal Jones will officiate.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 13, from 1 - 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at Joyner's Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home.

Texie is survived by her daughter, Joy Glover Weaver and husband, Eugene of Rocky Mount; son, Randy G. Glover of Bailey; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; her sisters, Carolyn Lucas of Sims, and Geraline Wiggs of Middlesex.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Dew Glover; her sister, Doris S. Long, and her brother, R.L. Skinner.
