Matthew Keith Denton, 19, died Saturday, April 22, 2006. He was born in Nash County on September 2, 1986 to Ronnie Denton and Susan Woodruff Denton. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Roy and Pearl Denton.
He is survived by his parents Ronnie and Susan Denton, a sister, Paige Denton of the home; maternal grandparents, Aubrey and Peggy Woodruff of Nashville; aunt and uncle, Brenda and David Pittman of Rocky Mount and an uncle and aunt, Jeff and Fran Woodruff of Nashville.
Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 26, 2006 at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home with Rev. Frankie Carroll and Rev. Norris Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family received friends Tuesday, April 25, 2006 at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.
