Tommy Ray Floyd

NASHVILLE-Tommy Ray Floyd, age 66, of Nashville, died Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at his home. Born on July 25, 1951 in Nash County, he was the son of the late Earl Randolph Floyd and Agnes Rackley Floyd. He was retired from Eastern Processing Tobacco Company and was a member of Elm Grove Baptist Church in Nashville.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Elm Grove Baptist Church by the Rev. Richard Price.

He is survived by one brother, Wiley Francis Floyd (Joyce) of Rocky Mount; one uncle, Benjamin Cody Floyd of Boone; and two nieces, Misty Moore and Sabrina Long.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday immediately following the service at Elm Grove Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Elm Grove Baptist Church, 2385 Old Bailey Highway, Nashville, NC 27856.

Arrangements are by J. M. White Funeral Home of Henderson, NC.
