ROCKY MOUNT - Lloyd Thomas Hamilton, Sr., 89 of Rocky Mount, died Monday April 14, 2008 at his residence.
Lloyd is survived by his wife Hilda Grey Hamilton; two sons, Lloyd Thomas, Jr. and wife Betsy of Dunn and Martin Ashley and Kim Carter of Erwin, NC; one daughter, Melanie Collins and husband Bundy of Lillington; two step-sons, Terry and Tommy Wells of Atlantic; six grandchildren, and one great grandson.
A memorial service was held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1830 Old Mill Road, Rocky Mount April 18, 2008 at 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers the family request any donations be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses c/o Hamilton’s, 3668 Dunbarton Road, Rocky Mount, NC 27803.
