Julia Alston Battle

Julia Alston Battle, 91, of Enfield, died on Wednesday, November 15, 2017.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 19, 2017at 2 p.m. from the St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church in Littleton with Rev. Will C. Tabron officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Luke Church Cemetery.

She is survived by Mamie Battle of Rocky Mount, Julia Battle of Roanoke Rapids; two sons, James Battle of Enfield, Henry Battle and his wife, Joyce of Roanoke Rapids; two sisters, Mattie Coppedge of Norfolk, VA, Martha Bush of New York; three brothers, Willie Alston of Littleton, Enoch Alston and his wife, Carolyn of Baltimore, MD, James Alston of Littleton; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Open visitation will be Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 3 until 6 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
