DOROTHY BERRY BATCHELOR

Dorothy Berry Batchelor, 95, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2017. She was born in Kent County, Michigan on March 9, 1922 to the late Issac and Mary Berry. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Kerney Batchelor.
She is survived by her son James Batchelor (Terri); daughters Jo Ann Shackelford (Michael) and Joyce Worchesky (Terry); six grandchildren; six great grandchildren brothers Jack and Don Berry; sisters Virginia Rogers and Arlene Post.
Services were held Saturday November 4, 2017 at Nashville United Methodist Church with Rev. Luke Whitehead officiating. Burial followed the service at Pineview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Nash Hospice and Palliative Care 2460 Curtis Ellis Dr. Rocky Mount, NC 27804 or to Nashville United Methodist Church 209 E. Washington St. Nashville, NC 27856.
