Howard Staten Joyner, age 66, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2017. Born in Nash County, on August 21, 1951, he was the son of the late Clarence Staton Joyner and Hazel May Brantley Joyner. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Edward Alan Joyner.

He is survived by his sister, Esther Faye Joyner Tyler of Durham; three nephews; one niece.

The family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 7- 8:30 at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
