Dorothy "Dot" Parker Collie, 86, passed away Monday, October 2, 2017. She was born March 28, 1931 in Nash County to the late Eddie and Alice Eason Parker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles O. Collie, her son, Robin Collie and, several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her her daughter, Harriet Collie Baker, brother, Deleon Parker and wife Connie; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be Thursday, October 5, 2017 from 6:30-8 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Friday, October 6, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Rueben Batchelor and Rev. Gerald Parker officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
