Jean Williams Hiatt, age 85, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Friday, September 29, 2017. Born in Nash County on March 20, 1932, she was the daughter of the late John Luther and Nannie Mae Williams. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Kay Williams and the father of her children Jim Hiatt.

She is survived by her children, Jamie LeMin, Joni Avent and Jimmy Hiatt; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Carroll Williams.

Services were held Sunday, October 1, 2017 in the Chapel of Johnson Funeral Home. Burial followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
