Ronald "Ronnie" Bruce Parker, age 66, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2017. Born in Nash County on January 31, 1951, he was the son of the late Raymond Wilson Parker, Sr. and Rebecca Armstrong Parker. He was also preceded in death by his son, Marcus Parker and his brother, Raymond Wilson Parker, Jr.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Linda Schiessl Parker; sons, Ronald D. Parker and his fiancé Kelly, and Joey D. Parker and girlfriend Brandi; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

A Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2017 from 5 - 7 p.m. at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
