The Nash County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man thought to be responsible for a break-in at the L&L Food Store on Red Oak Road.

Deputies responded to a break-in at the L&L, located at 1765 Red Oak Road, Nashville, on Friday, July 28.

Through investigation, detectives discovered Frederick Allan Battle was the person responsible for the break-in and may have fled North Carolina, possibly heading to Florida. Battle may be with his girlfriend, Skylar Birth, and a minor child.

Battle may be operating a grey or blue 2005 Ford Freesyle, NC Registration PCD-9910. The vehicle is registered to Birth.

Battle is a convicted felon and a known gang member, according to the Nash County Sheriff's Office. He has several convictions, including assault, robbery and other violent crimes. Battle has been entered as wanted in NCIC and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information on Battle's whereabouts is asked to call the Sheriff's Office at 252-459-1510 or Detective Jonathan Hillis at (252) 903-2453.
