Gennie Vee Lynch Massenburg

Gennie Vee Lynch Massenburg, 87, of Whitakers, died on Friday, April 21, 2017.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 2 p.m. from Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Hollister with the Rev. Linda Taybron officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery.

Survivors include five daughters, Barbara Ann Macon-Jordan, and her husband, Dwight, of Nashville, Kay Debroux, and her husband Eddie, of Brooklyn, NY, Mable Mann, and her husband, Larry, of Whitakers, Doris Taylor, and her husband, William, of Rocky Mount, Vivian Richardson, and her husband, Melvin, of Whitakers; three sons, Calvin Massenburg, and his wife, Barbara, of Whitakers, Willie Massenburg, and his wife, Lenora, of Whitakers and Kenneth Massenburg, and his wife, Cynthia, of Rocky Mount; one sister, Ardean Mills, of Nashville; 22 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 from 3 until 7 p.m.
