ROCKY MOUNT – Agnes Skinner Harper, 85, passed away February 25, 2008. She was born August 22, 1922 in Nash County. Agnes was the daughter of the late Roy and Catherine Skinner. She is preceded in death by her husband Willie Benjamin Harper; four brothers, Ed, Jessie, Billy, and Harvey Skinner.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her son Tim Harper and wife Carol of Rocky Mount; one brother, Bobby Skinner and wife Lucille of Rocky Mount; three sisters, Tency Vick and husband Tommy of Rocky Mount, Marie Tant and husband Walter of Rocky Mount, Elizabeth Narron and husband Charlie of Mar’s Hill, NC; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
The family received friends from 12 to 2 pm Thursday, February 28, 2008. A funeral service was held at 2 pm in the Sunset Chapel. Burial immediately followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
