Linda Jones Abernathy, 72, passed away February 22, 2107. She was the daughter of the late Bert and Bessie Jones of Bunn. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings Bert Jones, Jr. and Barbara Jones Johnson.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Millard Ray Abernathy and daughter, Teresa Abernathy Pearce (Quentin) of Spring Hope; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held at the Bunn Town Cemetery on Hwy 98 in Bunn on Saturday, February 25, 2017 with the Rev. Bill Brantley officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
