Michael "Red" Dunn, 55, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2017.

Funeral services were on Sunday, February 26, 2017 from the Mitchner Grove Baptist Church in Louisburg, with Rev. Melvin Jackson, officiating. Burial followed in the Mitchner Grove Church Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Angela Dunn of the home; one daughter, Shana Hinton of Raleigh; one son, Michael Dunn, Jr. of Nashville; two sisters, Jackie Green of Jacksonville, FL, Julie Kendrick and her husband, Dinny of Rocky Mount; three brothers, Albert Alston of Nashville, Robert Alston of Franklinton, Donald Ray Dunn and his wife, Gloria Jean of Nashville; two step-daughters and seven grandchildren.
