Elsie Johanna Terry, age 102, of Rocky Mount, formerly of San Leandro, CA, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2017. Born in Mayday, KS August 23, 1914 to Henry Christian Rothlisberger and Martha Louise Koplin. She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Walter Terry, Sr.; a brother, Alvin Rothlisberger; a sister Louise Wymore.
She is survived by her sister, Gladys Pearson of Evans, CO; step-son, Walter Terry, Jr. and wife, Sandy, of Rocky Mount; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services were held Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 433 Winstead Ave., Rocky Mount with the Pastor Alice Curl officiating. Entombment followed at The Chapel on the Hill Mausoleum at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
