DONALD PARKER PRIDGEN

Donald Parker Pridgen, age 72, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2017. Born in Nash County on July 28, 1944, he was the son of the late James Russell Pridgen and Rachel Parker Pridgen. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Gene Russell Pridgen.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Judy Moore Pridgen; son, Christopher Thomas Pridgen and wife, Brandi, of Raleigh; and daughter, Angela Pridgen Wooten and husband, Chris, of Cary; three grandchildren.
Services will be held Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Pastor Dan Davis and Rev. Bill Grisham officiating. The visitation will be from 1 - 2:30 p.m. in the Atrium of Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home. A private burial will follow the service.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Bethlehem Presbyterian Church, 1460 Bethlehem Road, Rocky Mount, NC 27803 or Wounded Warrior Project, 4200 Morganton Road, #300, Fayetteville, NC 28314.
