Troy Carl Drake, 59, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2017. He was born May 13, 1957 in Nash County. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Milton Drake.

Troy is survived by his wife, Susan M. Drake; mother, Kathryn Benedict Drake; son, Charles Ramsey; daughters, Kathryn Thomas (Chad), Sherri Cooper (William), Michelle Dacus (Michael); 7 grandchildren; brother, Kenneth Drake (Cindy) and several nephews.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, Nashville.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
