Robert "Bob" Speight Melton, Jr., age 65, of Nashville, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2016. Born in Nash County on July 9, 1951, he was the son of the late Robert "Tubby" Speight Melton and Lillian Brake Melton.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Toni Strickland Melton; son, Steve Melton and wife, Amy, of Lansdale, PA; and his daughter, Karen Melton of Raleigh; sister, Charlotte Melton Pierce and husband, Daniel, of Lorton, VA; two nephews.
The family received friends and relatives on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
