Thomas Walter Whitley, 65, passed away Wednesday, November 09, 2016. He was born in Nash County to the late Wallie Moses and Beaulah Ferrell Whitley.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Joyce Elaine Manning Whitley; son, Tommy Earl Whitley (Aimee) of Rocky Mount; daughter, Kim Michelle Whitley of Rocky Mount; 4 grandchildren; brothers, Ruffin Lee Whitley of Nashville, Wallace Reese Whitley of Texas; sisters, Mary Jane Thorpe of Momeyer and Marie Goodson of Middlesex.

A memorial service was held Friday, November 11, 2016 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Chaplain Jacob Starr officiating.
