Rosabelle Vester Cotton, age 86, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2016. Born in Nash County on October 27, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Spencer Vester and Rosa Lee Deans Vester. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Horace Dowd Cotton and a grandson, Joshua Cotton, two sisters, and five brothers.
She is survived by her daughter, Jan Cotton of Rocky Mount; sons, Douglas Cotton and wife, Lisa, of Rocky Mount; Russell Cotton and wife, Karen, of Red Oak; and Philip Cotton of Rocky Mount; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. A visitation with the family will follow the service.
