JOHN EDWARDS
NASHVILLE – John Curtis Edwards, 81, died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2008. Funeral services were held Feb. 15 in the chapel of Johnson Funeral and Cremations. Burial followed at Forest Hills Cemetery in Nashville.

He was born Jan. 19, 1927 in Nash County, son of the late Tom and Donnie Hinton Edwards.

Survivors include his wife, Christine of Nashville; daughter, Wendy Outlaw and husband Thomas of Nashville; son, Curt Edwards of Nashville; sisters, Annie Leppla and Nancy Jackson, both of Nashville, and Joyce Abernathy of Hampstead; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Momeyer Baptist Church Building Fund, 4967 Momeyer Way, Nashville, NC 27856.
