ROCKY MOUNT– Rev. Harvey Louis Coppedge, 89, died February 16, 2008 . He was born October 6, 1918 in Nash County to the late William Joseph and Annie Lou Braswell Coppedge. He was preceded in death by his sisters Annie Jo Coppedge, Pearl Bowden, Martha Wester, and Onea Aycock.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years Elsie Edwards Coppedge of the home; daughter, Linda Coppedge of Glatia; Sons Calvin Coppedge, and Terry Coppedge both of Rocky Mount; 3 grand children; brothers, Rev. Dalton Coppedge and Willard Coppedge both of Rocky Mount, along with several nieces and nephews.
The family received friends from 7-8:30 p.m. on Monday February 18, 2008 at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.
Funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
