Jean Chesson Couch, of Rocky Mount, 91 years of age, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2016. Jean was the only child of Otis Alfred Chesson and Iva Swain Chesson and was born in Washington County in 1925.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Clay Couch, Jr. and by their two sons, Clay Chesson Couch and James Wesley Couch. She is survived by her daughter Karen Louisa Couch, two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Barbara Couch.
A funeral service will be held will be held at West Haven Presbyterian Church, 1001 West Haven Blvd, Rocky Mount at 2 p.m. on Friday, October 14, 2016.
