ELOISE ANNETTE BOWDEN HUX

Eloise B. Hux, 85, of Castalia, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2016. She was born May 20, 1931 in Franklin County to the late Herbert and Addie Bowden. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Henry Clay Hux; brothers, Pete and Billy Bowden.
Survivors include a son, Jerry Hux and his wife, Betty; daughters, Ellen Hux and Jackie Cain and her husband Michael; sisters, Elnora Braswell, Jeanette Dunnavant and her husband, Don and Anna Mae Baines and her husband, John; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
A visitation will be Thursday, September 29, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home of Nashville. A funeral service will be held Friday, September 30, 2016 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Castalia Baptist Church with Rev. Carlyle Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Castalia Baptist Church@ 9563 Main Street, Castalia, NC 27816.
