Billy Martin Shepherd Jr., 55, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2016. He was born on September 8, 1960 in Lee County, Mississippi. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy M. Shepherd, Sr., paternal grandparents Fletcher and Lettie Shepherd and maternal grandfather Lee Coleman.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Dianna Shepherd; one daughter, Paige Shepherd Carroll and husband Jacob; mother, Mary Coleman Shepherd; maternal grandmother, Freida Coleman; and one sister, Sandi Liles.

Visitation is Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Englewood Baptist Church, 1350 S. Winstead Avenue, Rocky Mount from 1 - 2:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held immediately after visitation at 2:30 p.m. with Dr. Michael Cloer officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
