Mack Strum, 85, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2016.

He was born in Nash County to the late James B. and Lottie Strum. Mack was also preceded in death by his Stepmother, Evelyn Strum, his wife, Shirley Purkerson Strum, four brothers and two sisters.

Mack is survived by son, Randle Strum and wife Kim; 2 granddaughters; companion, Judy Creech; brother, Ronald Strum; sisters, Lorene Hagwood, Catherine Nelms, Kay Provetero and Gayle Miller and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 3rd. at 2 p.m. at Duke Memorial Baptist Church, 3976 North, NC Hwy 581, Spring Hope with visitation following in church fellowship hall.
