Hubert Wayne "Dimpy" Winstead, age 68, of Wilson, passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2016. Born in Nash County on June 12, 1947, he was the youngest son of the late Roscoe and Minnie Winstead. He was also preceded in death by his brother James R. "Big Boy" Winstead, two nieces Evelyn Ann Sheffield and Karen Paige Williams.

He is survived by his sister, Rose Williams and husband, Frank, of Rocky Mount; one great niece and one nephew.

A funeral service was held Saturday, June 4, at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
