John Delton Eason, Sr., 67, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2016. He was born in Nash County November 14, 1948 to the late Henry John and Estelle Pittman Eason. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Nellie Nelms.
John is survived by his wife Doris Winstead Eason; sons John Delton Eason, Jr., John Robert "Robbie" Eason, Kevin Strickland; daughters Michelle Eason Parker (Lee), Kim Evans ( Jonathan); 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sister Norma Bozelle (Nate).
Services will be held 6 p.m. Friday, May 6, 2016 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service and other times at the home of Michelle Parker.
