NASHVILLE,NC-Alice Elaine Miller Parker,86 died January 26, 2008. She was born in Franklin County March 4, 1921 to the late Sidney William Miller and Bessie Smith Miller. Mrs. Parker was a member of Momeyer Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Robert Edward Wells and Joseph D. Parker.
She is survived by her son, William “Bill” Wells and Family of Franklin, VA and a niece, Bonnie Sue Fowler and Family of Va. Beach, VA; three grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
A graveside service was held Monday, January 28, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Hill Cemetery, Nashville with Rev. Paul Arnold officiating. The family received friends from 12-1:00p.m. prior to the service at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home, Rocky Mount. Arrangements by Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home; 1130 N.
