Raymond Ricks Bell, age 86, of Rocky Mount, passed away April 22, 2016. He was the son of the late Paul Vernon Bell and Rosa Whitley Bell of the Oak Level community. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Rick Bell; two brothers, Charles and Paul Bell; and four sisters, Rachel Bell, Rebecca Collins, Mary Lou Bell and Agnes Breedlove.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Tillie Lucas Bell; daughter, Cathy B. Marberry and husband, Hugh Marberry; 5 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; sister-in-law, Ethel Bell; brother-in-law, Tom Breedlove; numerous nieces and nephews; and two step-sons, Charles Joyner and Scott Joyner.

Funeral Services were held on Monday, April 25, at Oak Level Baptist Church with Dr. Blake Dempsey and Dr. Rick Downing officiating. Interment was at Forest Hill Cemetery in Nashville.

Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Oak Level Baptist Church or Rock Creek Baptist Church.
