Douglas McArthur Taylor

Douglas McArthur Taylor, 73, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2016. He was born August 7, 1942 to the late Joseph and Doshie Hathaway Taylor. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Taylor; a daughter, MaryAlice N. Taylor and a grandson, Michael Whitman.

He is survived by his daughters, Kim Taylor, Patricia Whitman and Cindy Giles; son, John Taylor; brother, Chris Taylor; sisters, Jean Medlin and Lessie Mercer; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held Saturday, March 19, 2016 at the Redman Hall, Rocky Mount. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to c/o Vicky Bottoms 151 May Dr. Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
