WILLIAM THOMAS BATCHELOR, JR.
William Thomas (W.T.) Batchelor, 86, passed away, Thursday, January 17, 2008. He was born October 18, 1921 in Nash County. He was the son of the late William Thomas Batchelor and Mary Della Edmondson Batchelor. Mr. Batchelor was an avid horseman and always enjoyed talking to others who shared his love for horses. He was also a loving husband, father and grandfather.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Eunice Langley Batchelor, his sister, Mary Lessie Batchelor; and a grandson, Travis Grant Batchelor.

He is survived by four sons; Billy Ray Batchelor and wife Gail Turner Batchelor; Alvin Wayne Batchelor, Sr. and wife, Martha Short Batchelor; Albert Thomas Batchelor and wife Judy Green Batchelor; and Ralph Derwood Batchelor and wife, Sylvia Whitley Batchelor; and one daughter, Deborah Batchelor Kincheloe and husband, John Bulluck Kincheloe. He is also survived by one brother, Vernon Carl Batchelor, Sr., and one sister, Myrtle Batchelor Vick. He also leaves behind to cherish his memory nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren.

Visitation was Saturday, January 19, 2008 from 7:00-8:30PM at Cornerstone Funeral Home in Nashville. Funeral Service were Sunday, January 20, 2008 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home. Burial followed at Forest Hill Cemetery of Nashville.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to: Sandy Cross United Methodist Church at 3725 Sandy Cross Road, Nashville, NC 27856.

Arrangements are entrusted to Cornerstone Funeral Home and Cremations, 1052 South First Street, Nashville, NC 27856.
