Vera Morris Viverette, age 89, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2016. Born in Nash County on March 30, 1926, she was the daughter of the late James Heber Morris and Mary Lou Morris. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Wallie Willard Viverette; daughter, Marilyn Viverette Evans; brother, Elmer C. Morris; and niece, Joan C. Morris.
She is survived by her son, Phil Viverette and wife, Beth, of Rocky Mount; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three nieces; three nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 11 am in the Chapel of Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Rev. Mark Pridgen officiating. Burial will follow at Pineview Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives Friday, March 11, 2016 from 7-8:30 p.m. at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
