William Daniel "Dan" Ennis

William Daniel "Dan" Ennis, age 61, of Red Oak, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2016. Born in Nash County on September 24, 1954, he was the son of the late William Busby Ennis and Reda Umstead Ennis.

He is survived by his wife, Lottie Strum Ennis of Red Oak; daughter, Charlotte Victoria Ennis of Red Oak; brothers, Sam Ennis and wife, Ann, of Wilmington; Tom Ennis and wife, Tracy, of High Point; and Jim Ennis and wife, Jackie, of Red Oak; and nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 7, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Church on the Rise, 3520 Bishop Road, Rocky Mount with the Pastors Richard Gurganus, Keisha Spivey and Jason Cockrell officiating. Visitation with the family will be 12:30-2 p.m. prior to the service.
