Hixie Richardson, 93, of Nashville, passed away Monday, February 29, 2016. Open visitation will be held Saturday, March 5 from 3-7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 6 at 12 noon from Philadelphia Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Paul Davis will officiate.
She is survived by her daughters, Virginia McCowan of Rocky Mount, Delois Richardson of Nashville, Mary Frances Bellamy of Nashville, Vivian Maxine Sessoms of Rocky Mount; son, William Henry Richardson of Ladover, Md.; sister, Irene Boone of Halifax; brother Jake Richardson of Nashville; 12 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
