Edward Junior Evans, 74, of Hollister, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2016. Open visitation will be held Friday, March 4 from 5-7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 3 p.m. from Pleasant Grove Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Thomas Richardson will officiate.
He is survived by his daughters, Erma J. Evans of Whitakers, Mary E. Reeves (Anthony) of Rocky Mount; step daughter Stacy Fehr of Raliegh; son, Fred Evans of Whitakers; mother, Martha L. Evans of Hollister; sisters, Helena Alston of Rocky Mount, Rev. Katie Jones (Shelton) of Durham, Margaret Parrish (Thomas) of Hollister, Louise Langley of Hollister; brothers, Juarties Evans (Margaret) of Rocky Mount, Samuel Evans (Elouise) of Nashville, David Evans of Hollister; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
