WILLIAM "BILLY" JOSEPH JENKINS, JR.

William "Billy" Joseph Jenkins, Jr., age 73, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2016. Born in Edgecombe County, on September 9, 1942, he was the son of the late William Joseph Jenkins and Sally Gray May Jenkins.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Gail Jenkins; his daughter, Jennifer Jenkins Pippin and husband, Todd, of Raleigh; and his son, William Joseph Jenkins, III and wife, Regina, of Boise, ID; three grandchildren; and brother, Thomas Lee Jenkins and wife, Cindy, of Cape Carteret.
A funeral service was held Sunday, February 14, 2016 at Englewood United Methodist Church, Rocky Mount with the Dr. John Dutton officiating. Burial followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to National Parkinson Foundation, 200 SE 1st Street, Miami, FL 33131.
