Lester Eugene Parker, 58, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2016. He was born August 12, 1957 in Nash County. He was preceded in death by his mother, Blanche Cockrell Parker.

He is survived by his father, Enoch Blue Parker; his wife, Julia Gray; one son, Aaron Blue Parker; two daughters, Ashley Parker Carter and her husband, Jeremy and Amy Dawn Stokes; one brother, Tommy Parker and his wife, Johnnette; one sister, Phyllis Whitley and her husband, Danny; and three grandchildren.

A visitation will be Friday, February 12, 2016 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Reuben Batchelor officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cornerstone Funeral Home for final expenses.
