Sandra Faye Pope Taylor, 72, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2016. She was born October 29, 1943 in Edgecombe County to the late Richard and Lottie Smith Pope. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Earl and Buddy and her sisters Joyce and Janet.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Harold Taylor; three sons, Renny Taylor and wife Leslie of Wilson, Ronnie Taylor and wife Krystle of Weaverville, Ricky Taylor and wife Carla of Raleigh; two grandchildren; one nephew; and two nieces.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 29, 2016 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Graveside service will be Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Williams Family Cemetery, 3768 Bend of the River Road, Elm City.
