Florine Mitchell Reams, 80, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2015. She was born March 20, 1935 in Nash County to the late William Atlas and Winnie Pink Wilson Mitchell. In addition to her parents, Florine is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Roy Reams; son, Kenneth Myron Reams; sister, Louise Williams Whitman.
She is survived by four sons, David Edward Reams, Timothy Reams (Lena), Billy Roy Reams, Jr. (Lori) and Jim Preston Reams; one brother Linwood Mitchell (Lillie); twelve grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; five nieces and one nephew. Graveside service was held Sunday, January 3, 2015 at Forest Hill Cemetery with Rev. Mike Robbins officiating and, special speaker Alex Measamer.
