Janie Denton Brantley

Janie Denton Brantley, 71, passed away Tuesday December 29, 2015. She was born July 2, 1944 in Nash County to the late James David and Aileen Hendricks Denton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Jamey Brantley, granddaughter, Ashley Pridgen Proctor, brother, Junior Denton and daughter-in-law, Karen Brantley.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Johnny Brantley; one son, Mike Brantley; two daughters, Kaye Pridgen and husband Woody, Robin Brantley; brothers, Mac Denton, Julian Denton and wife Bernice; sisters, Edna Rich and Lois Brown; sister-in-law, Mary Lee Denton; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services were held Thursday December 31, 2015 in the chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Moss officiating. Burial followed at Forest Hill Cemetery.

Arrangements by Cornerstone Funeral Home and Cremations.
