Jeremy "Pete" Hill

Jeremy "Pete" Hill, 24, passed away on December 25, 2015. He was born May 16, 1991 to Ken and Teresa Hill. He was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth "Justin" Hill and maternal grandfather, "Pa" Rubin Lee Carpenter.

He is survived by his parents, Kenneth W. Hill and Teresa Carpenter Hill of Elm City; sister, Jamie Hill and fiancé Justin Carter of Elm City; one brother, Josh Wachowicz and wife Jaclyn and children of Spring Hope; two nephews; maternal grandmother, Kay Braswell Carpenter; paternal grandparents, Pete Hill of Spring Hope and Judy Taylor Hill of Virginia, paternal great grandmother, Beulah Matthews of Castalia; uncle, Rubin Kent Carpenter and wife, Drenda of Fayetteville, and many great aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. John Hudson officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at 11am - 2pm prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Greater Piedmont Teen Challenge, P.O.
