Ellen Chappell Braswell, age 78, passed away on December 11, 2015. She was born January 16, 1937 to the late Clifton Lafayette Chappell and Catherine Lucas Chappell. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Jacquelyn Mae Harper and brother Clifton MacArthur Chappell.

She is survived by her daughter, Jacquelyn Hope Bone; three sons, Clifton Smith Braswell and wife Dianne, David Ray Braswell and wife Rachel and Marvin Scott Braswell and wife Angie; one sister, Patricia Hope Calleson; sister-in-law, Judith Chappell; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Reggie Bone and wife Rose and Kathy Freeman.

Funeral service will be held Sunday, December 13, 2015 at 2 p.m. with a visitation with family and friends one hour prior to the service at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Woody Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
