Thomas Walter Watson

Thomas Walter Watson, age 68, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2015. Born in Giles County, TN on October 29, 1947, he was the son of the late F.C. Watson and Mary Catherine Farmer Watson. He was also preceded in death by his sister Louise Varnell; and brother, Glenn Watson.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Amy Caskey Watson; his daughters, Deborah Watson Brown and her husband, Andrew, of Rocky Mount, and Ellen Miller Anstine of Canto, OH; 2 grandchildren; his brothers, George Watson and his wife, Windye, of Rocky Mount, Marvin Lynn Watson and his wife, Christine, of Rocky Mount, Charles Watson and his wife, Betty, of Rocky Mount, David Watson and his wife, Kim, of Rocky Mount, and James Watson and his wife, Polly, of Taylorsville; his sisters, Nancy Moore and her husband, Ricky, of Rocky Mount, Barbara Ann Watson of Wilson, Zola Catherine Watson of Rocky Mount, Betty Frances Gardner and her husband, Wilbur, of Rocky Mount, and Lisa Taylor and her husband, Russell, of Rocky Mount.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 29, 2015 at 3 pm in the Chapel of Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Rev. Don Causey officiating. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service.
