David Mitchell Edwards, 79, and Sylvia Gretchen Strum Edwards, 77, passed away on October 31, 2015 and November 2, 2015.

David and Sylvia are survived by their children, Melanie Lishman and her husband Bobby of Slidell, Louisiana and Mitch Edwards and his wife Mary of Carrollton, Mississippi; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

David was born to the late Frank and Lucille Edwards in Nashville on November 7, 1935.

Sylvia was born to the late Walter and Maddie Strum in Castalia on January 27, 1937. Survived by one sister, Shirley Burton of Virginia and proceeded by five siblings, Alton, Neil, Herman, Lucy and Thackston Strum.

Funeral services were held November 5th, 2015, at North Greenwood Baptist Church, in Greenwood, Mississippi. Dr. Jim Philips officiated.
