MAVIS BAILEY HARPER

Mavis Bailey Harper, 87, passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2015. She was born in Nash County December 23, 1927 to the late Joseph Benjamin and Lettie Perry Bailey. In addition to her parents, Mavis was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Harper; one son, Ricky Harper; one daughter, Peggy Joiner; two brothers, Linwood and Russell Bailey and one sister, Rachel Bailey.
She is survived by sons, James Harper and his wife, Brenda, Jesse Wayne Harper, Eddie Dwight Harper and his wife, Tammy, all of Nashville; daughters, Rebecca Height and husband, Robert of Castalia, Ann Andrews and her husband, Stephen of Nashville; sister, Pattie Rose of Lumberton; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Services were held Monday, November 9, 2015 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Carroll Wiggs and Rev. Raymond Coley, Jr. Burial followed at Harper Family Cemetery. Arrangements by Cornerstone Funeral Home and Cremations in Nashville.
